| Entering a New Consignor Record |
Click on 'Consignors' on Work Areas Toolbar to access the Consignor Work Area-

then select 'New' on the Local Toolbar.

Complete as much information as desired. Designate a 'Consignor ID'. Because consignors are sorted alphabetically, it's best to assign a Consignor ID that readily identifies the consignor. 'Last name and initials' works best.
Check whether to send mailings and/or sales reports.
Set a different consignor % if applicable and choose how to dispose of unsold items.
Enter the consignor % in decimal form, e.g., .40 for 40%. For a House Account (where the shop is to receive 100% of the sale proceeds) enter 1, not 100.
Click 'OK' to enter the new consignor into the database. Any entry may be changed later.
Consignors may be 'highlighted' so you'll know they need attention. Click on the consignor to be highlighted. Click on edit. Click on the Mail Tab and write a note. Click 'OK'. Consignors with notes will appear with a bright yellow background in the consignor list.
Select 'Print Consignor Agreement' to print the agreement. The agreement will be pre-filled with this consignor's information.
