New Robust Accounting Software Program for Consignment, Resale, Retail and Thrift Shops Inventory Sales

Consignment Buyer Fee

I don't know if you are interested but this was some of the chat I just received about Buyer Fees as follows:

I have consignment software. There is a designated area for you as the owner, to specify how much of a Buyer Fee you would like to add on to the price.

Buyer's Fee Format

I think an essential skill I have always seen in consignment shop owners is the ability to know what an item will sell for.  This is not unlimited.  This means to me that the way to use the buyer's fee is to have it reduce the base available for computing consignor percentage, rather than increasing the price.  The price is always the optimum price for an item in your judgment.

But, of course, I can do it any way you like.

You can enter it in as a percentage or a specific dollar amount. You can also specify at which dollar amounts you would like it to increase. The Buyer Fee always stays the same even when the price is discounted. You have the option of removing the fee off of a designated item if you choose. Also, when your daily reports print out at closing you can see exactly how much you made in Buyer Fees.

I like what this says....what do you think?

This is not something that I can implement easily for you.
