The purpose of this forum is to offer full public disclosure of the facts as they relate to consignment software programs and their providers, including the true cost of software ownership, program deficits and strengths, vendor reputations and their marketing strategies.
Heretofore there has been little competition in the 'consignment software industry' and a handful of providers have seemingly conspired to keep both initial and ongoing costs very high while experimenting with a number of creative ideas for disguising true costs.
Feel free to post your experiences here. What has been the total cost of owning your software program over time? Were you dismayed to learn that the heralded initial price was just a 'down payment'? Did you discover 'add-on' fees after purchase? Do you feel you were mislead? Has your provider been honest with you? Treated you with courtesy and respect? This is the place to air your grievances and warn others to avoid the same mistakes.
