Default messages can appear at the top (header) and bottom (footer) of invoices. The header file is named header.txt and the footer file is named footer.txt. These files are located at C:\Program Files\BCSS.

To edit the messages in these files, use Notepad (located under Start, Program Files, Accessories.) The text of the messages can not be formatted and the files can not contain images.

The header file typically contains the business name, address and contact information. The footer may contain a slogan like “Thank for shopping at (Your Shop's Name).

The header and footer height boxes below specify in inches how much space to set aside on the invoice for messages. The default values are .5".
