Best Consignment Shop Software works with any laser, ink jet, bubble or dot matrix printer. It is configured specifically for use with the Zebra 2844 Thermal Printer and the new Horizontal 1-across labels (with bar codes) and 2-across labels (without bar codes).

Address labels may be printed on (1" x 2-5/8", 30 per sheet) labels, commonly available from office supply stores.

Hang tags are stock-paper price tags with a hole at one end for hanging. There are 20 labels per sheet for laser-style printers. (Hang tags may not be printed with a dot matrix printer.) Colored labels (1" x 4 1/4") are available from Markat CC. Avery label #5161 (1" x 4") are available from office supply stores.

Price labels may be printed on Avery-style labels (#5160, 1" x 2-5/8", 30 per sheet) or (#5167, 1/2" x 1-3/4", 80 per sheet).

Thermal price labels may be printed '1-across' (with bar codes) or '2-across' (without bar codes) using Zebra 2844 Thermal Printer. Bar Codes may be printed on 3"-wide and 3.5"-wide non-adhesive perforated labels and on 4"-wide adhesive labels.

One label may be printed at a time so there is no waste. No ink or ribbon is required. This is the most economical method for printing several price labels.

Outdated thermal labels use 'notches' to advance labels through the printer. There are only 500 sets of two tags on the 2-across rolls and a minimum of 2 tags must be printed each time (or labels are wasted).
