Click on 'Manage Locations' to set sales locations. This can be on whatever scale is appropriate, from several stores in different locations (each with a number of point-of-sale locations), or point-of-sale locations for only one store.

After creating the list of locations, tell the current copy of BCSS which location it is by choosing from the drop-down box labeled 'This computer is location'. The location of an inventory item can be specified by editing an individual item record, during batch inventory entry or during batch inventory edit. The locations are then available for filtering Inventory Reports.
