About McAfee and BCSS

A McAfee update in October, 2009 mistakenly deletes a BCSS database file (named ocnexty3.ocx.)

A temporary solution is to do a Windows System Restore (completely safe and reversible) to a date prior to the McAfee update. It is also possible to download BCSS, disconnect from the Internet and temporarily turn McAfee off to view the BCSS demo.

McAfee was notified of its mistake and has not responded. A permanent solution is to uninstall McAfee and replace it with a reliable anti-virus program like Norton.
