About Our Unhappy Customers

Even the best of businesses have an occasional unhappy customer. Of our 1,200+ users, we've had approximately 1% that weren't satisfied with our product or service. Here's why:

  • We support our software for free via email. We provide phone support at $29/30 minutes (which is largely unnecessary). Still, some opt not to purchase phone support then expect their phone calls to be returned after purchase.

  • Our software (and most others) will not function properly on machines that are poorly maintained and/or have inadequate resources. More often than not, troubleshooting 'software issues' uncovers machines with slow processors, inadequate RAM memory and malware infestations.

  • Negative comments posted on the Internet have largely been instigated and encouraged by one unscrupulous competitor. He also makes it a practice of making anonymous negative posts about us. Read about him here.

Topping the list of innovative practices for Resale Vintage is our POS system. I did an extensive research for a POS system. We purchased a software program called Best Consignment Shop Software. It will do more than most software programs available on the market for over $10,000. The purchase price, including the printer and cash drawer was just over $1000 US. The best part is the support. Support for the product is free and ongoing. Initially several components were added to meet the unique needs of our Canadian-based company, like tax tracking. This software tracks inventory, consignor's percentages, settlements, employees and will produce reports of area and sales categories. It will operate in both Canadian and US currencies.
