About Purchase Orders

A 'Purchase Order' is an opportunity for sellers of software to fully disclose cost and policy in writing prior to the sale. Sellers with costs and adverse policies to hide don't offer one, or better stated, refuse to provide one.

You should insist upon getting full disclosure of fees and provisions prior to purchase to protect yourself from the fraudulent acts of hiding fees and hiding unfavorable software ownership stipulations. If software vendors avoids providing one, avoid them.

Our Purchase Order lists our prices and clearly state that refunds are not made once a permanent code is issued. (The Unlock Code provides permanent use of BCSS.) Of course the reason for this provision is to also protect us from fraud.

What do software vendors hide?

  • A 2nd copy of the software for home use costs $300.
  • In addition to annual fees there are separate fees for isolated services.
  • Networking costs $300 for each PC. (You will need this as business expands.)
  • Ongoing fees cost more than the initial software.
  • Service and updates will be denied if you don't pay annual fees.
  • The person providing the software misrepresented himself as a 'company'.
  • The software can't be sold by you in the future.
  • There are fees for services which are provided for free elsewhere.
  • You will pay $45 per 'service call' if you don't pay up front for annual service.
  • You will pay big bucks to add basic features.

Of course the simple solution is to avoid software vendors who refuse to be open and honest with you.
