How to Install BCSS on Windows Vista

Important! Log into Windows as Administrator to install software. Follow the instructions below or view these illustrated instructions.

1. Turn User Account Controls off. (Instructions)
2. It may be necessary to set your anti-virus program to allow BCSS. AVG | Kaspersky | Norton | PC-Cillin | OR: Replace your fee-based anti-virus program with Free Microsoft Security Essentials.
3. Click on the link below matching the BCSS edition you wish to install.
4. On the pop-up screen, select 'Save'.
5. Click on 'Desktop' then 'Save'. (The file will be saved to the Desktop.)
6. When the download finishes, click 'Open Folder'.
7. RIGHT click on the file and select 'Run as Administrator'.
8. Follow the prompts to complete the installation. (Reboot if asked.)
9. Right click on the new BCSS Desktop icon (named BCSS Run).
10. Click on 'Run as Administrator'.
11. To avoid having to repeat the last 2 steps, right click on the BCSS Desktop icon, select Properties and set all users to run as Admin.

1. Click a button and choose 'Save' (not 'Run').
   
2. Save the file to the Desktop (where it's easy to find).
