There are two ways to process discounts:

• Automatically - This handy feature is not found in many software programs but for larger stores it is essential! Discounts are applied automatically when a new invoice is opened - a real time saver.
• Manually - Some store owners prefer manual discounting to avoid having the default discount apply.

Check 'Process discounts automatically.' below if discounts are to be automated. If inventory is large and/or computer resources are low, there may be a delay as discounts are auto-processed.

Discounts only need to be processed once per day.
