Less Service Required!

The previous version of BCSS was based upon an older technology which included a 3rd-party component for communication between the BCSS program and the database. FoxPro 'talks' directly to BCSS so BCSS FoxPro is faster and more reliable - less chance for data corruption - fewer trips to support for help.

BCSS FoxPro also contains new features called 'Reset Program' and 'Rebuild Database Indices' (under Utilities in BCSS). In the past you may have had to send your database to support for repair. In most cases, that will no longer be necessary using these 2 new features.

The User Interface has been totally redesigned to put the most common information and functions 'on top' within easy reach, and we hope you'll agree the new UI is more aesthetically pleasing.

New Features!

BCSS FoxPro's handy new features make it a more valuable asset to your business:

• Auto Enter Payments on Invoices - Now when a payment method is selected, the amount of the invoice is entered as the Total.
• Bar Codes Assigned Easily - After inventory has been entered, assign bar codes to each item by selecting Assign Bar Codes (Inventory Work Area, Quick Links).
• Bar Codes on 4" Thermal Labels - Print bar codes on any thermal label 2.25"" wide or wider with bar codes. (Diamond Edition)
• Consignment Agreement - Select Edit Consignor Agreement under Utilities to edit the Agreement within BCSS.
• Consignor Percentage Tool - Change the consignment split for a consignor for unsold items, sold but unsettled items and/or modify existing consignor records.
• Consignor Records - Add multiple records without having to close and reopen the New-Consignor Screen.
• Discount Inventory by Category - Each Inventory Category can have it's own Discount Schedule. Placing items in their own Categories allows greater control and flexibility in determining which items to discount, when and by how much.
• Discount Schedule on Zebra Labels - Print discount schedules on thermal tags.
• Inventory Batch Delete by date, consignor and/or category.
• Inventory Pictures - Add from PC or from an online location.
• Labels Printing New Layout - New format for defining which labels to print.
• Report Screens New Layout - New format for determining the information to be included in each report.
• Show Inventory Picture at POS - Allows sales clerks to verify that price tags have not been switched.
• Storage Feature - Settled items may be moved to a permanent storage file to reduce database size.
• Zip Code Ranges - Produce reports and mailing labels for a zip code or zip-code range.
